I’m Denise Maitan, an animator and VFX artist. I’m currently working as a Senior Art Director for Believeco, a national advertising agency. I have also been CDP Certified.

Originally from Brazil, I obtained a Bachelors degree in Design (honours) from São Paulo State University (UNESP). I then traveled to Canada to take a post-graduate course in 3D Computer Graphics from Red River College in Winnipeg -Manitoba, graduating at the top of my class (honours).

Shortly after, I got my first animation job as a generalist and since then I’ve worked in the film industry in post-production houses and design agencies, working on all types of projects for clients big and small.

I’m passionate about the creative arts, film and storytelling and I am grateful to be doing what I love, every day.
